The Ultimate Song is a half hour DVD made by Rock A Mole (rhymes with guacamole) Productions out of Los Angeles. It explores the role of music in the struggle to end poverty. The Ultimate Song features many organizations of the poor themselves along with musicians unknown and known (Bruce Springsteen, Ice T, Sara Hickman, Brian Blade, Jackson Browne, Steve Earle). It begins by describing musicians not as ATM machines for worthy causes but as people with the same problems as everyone else.
