Join California Poets in the Schools, Poetry Flash, Watershed Eco-Poetry Festival, and 100 Thousand Poets for Change (Official) this Saturday, at 1 PM, at Civic Center Park, across from the Farmer’s Market in Berkeley. Bring a picnic. Ashby BART is just 1 block away.
We’ve got 15 amazing CPITS kid poets coming from South San Francisco; Sonoma, and Alameda counties to read at the Watershed Poetry Festival in Berkeley on Sept 27 at 1 PM. Buri Buri 5th grader Emily Mozzetti, whose poem title, If the Sky Was My Heart, was chosen for this year’s California Poets in the Schools anthology title, will kick off the reading. We’ve also got several students from Gomes ES in Fremont, and students from Poetry Inside Out reading as as well.
