Throwback Thursday: From the program book for the 2017 edition of the Sing Out Loud Festival. The roster included a panel discussion on the subject of change, a featured reading by Michael Rothenberg (Co-Founder of the global movement 100 Thousand Poets for Change), and an open mic featuring 15 poets from the local St. Augustine, Florida community. The festival was made up of more than 300 music acts performing for free, every weekend in September. In additional to the diverse roster of musicians, the annual festival also boosted events that showcased poetry as well as comedy.
