We’re raising funds for Shaleshock, our local anti-fracking organization. Come down, bring the kids for some fun word-play in the poem factory, stay to hear poems and conversations celebrating our watershed and calling us to protect it. Readers will include Wendy Babiak, Michelle Courtney Berry, Gail Horst-Warhaft and her student poets, Linda Glenn, Michael Gillan Maxwell, and Melissa Tuckey. Refreshments.
Both Shaleshock and Sustainable Tompkins will have tables with information about how you can help protect the watershed and all that depends upon it.
