100 THOUSAND PHOTOGRAPHERS FOR CHANGE

Do you want to join photographers across the planet in a demonstration/celebration of photography to promote serious social, environmental, and political change?

On September 29th poets, musicians, mimes and artists of other mediums will be holding events, and photographers are now joining the movement for 2012!

So far there are over 700 events in 115 countries confirmed to participate!

If you would like to organize a photo shoot, a photo exhibition, or any other type of photography action in your community, please sign up. If you are interested in pursuing an ongoing project, 100 Thousand Photographers for Change can also help facilitate networking and collaboration, as often times our medium requires in depth and long term commitment to produce a body of work. Immediately following September 29th, all documentation on the 100TPC.org website, which will include specific event pages with photos, video and other documentation compiled by each organizer, will be preserved by Stanford University in California. Stanford recognized 100 Thousand Poets for Change in 2011 as an historical event and will maintain an ongoing archive of the complete contents of 100TPC.org, as part of their digital archiving program LOCKSS.
