kualalumpurPoetry can change the world!

Join us for an evening of poetry, music and discourse about how poetry and art can help create the kind of world we all want live in. As poets and artists, we don’t want to just speak about ourselves or even just speak to a small group of friends and fans. Poetry, music and art can do more than that and should do more than that.

As part of the 2015 100 Thousand Poets for Change (100TPC) Global event, our chapter (Kuala Lumpur,) will join hundreds of other cities and countries with thousands of other poets and artists, in solidarity and celebration of global peace, justice and sustainability.

Our event will begin with a very special public forum to discuss how, as a community we can come together and better equip ourselves to respond to the current and emerging social and political realities of our day.

“Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine and at last you create what you will.” George Bernard Shaw

“Imagination creates reality” Richard Wagner

“If you are a dreamer come in
If you are a dreamer a wisher a liar

Come in!”
― Shel Silverstein
