For the past 5 years, Poetic Vibes Arts Foundation has coordinated the local arm of the global initiative 100 Thousand Poets for Change which was launched in September 2011 – a movement to promote social, environmental and economic change using the arts for peace and sustainability. The first installment in Trinidad & Tobago showcased not only poets for the cause, but musicians and artists as well. With growing participation of over 125 countries, more ‘artisans’ joined in. Poetic Vibes’ has since dubbed its initiative, “100 Thousand Artisans For Change – Trinidad & Tobago”.
