Here’s what has shaped up: a bioregionally-oriented salon series
called Cascadia Starlight Express leading up to a 100 Thousand Poets for Change performance at Portland Hempstalk on Sept. 24, 2016.
The first salon is a brunch and ice cream social in the South Tabor neighborhood of Portland, Oregon at my home tomorrow, Sunday Aug. 21, 2016. It coincides with a Sunday Parkway (street closure loop in our area) and neighborhood yard sales. We will be welcoming SpitWrite Youth Poet Maia Abbruzzese and singer-songwriter Scott Hummel; I will also perform Anais Mitchell’s song “One Good Thing”
I expect to tour the salon series after Sept. 24 Portland Hempstalk: Sept. 27-29 Walla Walla, WA/WestonOR Oct. 15 Olympia,WA Nov. 3-5 Seattle: Bioregional Poetry Symposium
