Join us Saturday, Sept. 29th from 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. for the 8th Annual installment of “100 Thousand Poets & Musicians for Change – St. Louis”! An official offshoot of the world-wide events created by Michael Rothenberg and Terri Carrion, “100,000 Poets & Musicians for Change – St. Louis” is a blending of the largest poetry and music events in history, with hundreds of countries around the world participating in umbrella events. Recorded by Stanford University for placement in their LOCKSS Historical Preservation System (as part of the largest poetry event in history), this year’s show will be held at Urb Arts in lovely and historic Old North!

The St. Louis event will focus on active change, with local non-profit organizations present to give out information and accept donations. Organized by Susan “Spit-Fire” Lively; “100 Thousand Poets & Musicians for Change – St. Louis” is free and open to the public. A diverse array of meaningful and exceptionally gifted  voices will rock the stage at this year’s show.  If you’re interested in performing or would like more information contact Susan at lostnation2009@gmail.com.
