The City of Charles Town, WV now has a beautiful “Community Mosiac” – built by almost 600 city & county volunteers over Memorial Day weekend, on the side of a building just off the main street. Within the Mosaic are images of John Brown (Harper’s Ferry is 4 miles from Charles Town), with many words depicting “free, emancipation, love”, etc. The street will be closed on Sept 29th for 100TPC for our poets, authors to read & the children’s corner reading activities.
