We had such a great and attentive crowd of young people at Wilson Elementary School listening to poetry today. Poetry was shared by the principal, the custodian, several teachers, some brave and talented students, and me. It was a very inspiring and heart-lifting experience. Tomorrow, we’ll be at Mead Library for music and open mic poetry on the theme of “Confluence and Connection.” I will have more photos soon. #readapoemtoachild #100TPC
