100 Thousand Arcs of Noah – Poetry Fellowship – Sept 25, 2012
The Poetry Society of Jamaica presented its September 2012 Fellowship in partnership with 100Thousand Poets & Musicians for Change 2012(100TPC) and in celebration of the life of Trinidadian writer/poet/teacher Wayne Brown. The evening saw featured readings of Brown’s works and reflections on his life by past participants in his workshops. A preview of 100Thousand Poets for Change’s 2012 Street Dub Vibe was also presented, preceded by the Fellowship’s Open Mic & Discussion Segment. Sabriya Simon was the month’s Featured Visual Artist and pieces of her works under the (100TPC 2012) Theme ‘Tell The Children The Truth’ were displayed throughout the evening. These are the highlights.
