Cèilidh for Oxfam
28th September, 8pm, Talla Mòr, Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, Isle of Skye Scotland
On Friday 28th September, there will be a big ceilidh at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig to raise money for Oxfam. Acts appearing include Angus Nicolson, Anne Martin, Christine Primrose, Decker Forrest, Duncan Overmeer, Màiri Sìne Chaimbeul, Margaret Stewart and students from the college; there will also be some drama, literature, raffles and a bar.
All monies raised will go to Oxfam’s education projects in Pakistan, especially to encourage education for girls in disaster-hit areas of the country. The event is in association with the 100 Thousand Poets for Change initiative.
Tickets cost £8 (or £5 for students).
