Tu Libro (www.TuLibro915.com), is a community literacy program. El Paso is the 19th largest city in the nation and we are ranked 3rd least literate. The Chicana/o-Latina/o student drop out rate is 54%. 13 of 100 El Paso students complete a college degree program. Fewer than 25% of El Paso County adults (age 25+) have a high school diploma or GED. This data clearly points to a desperate need for educational transformation.
