CALLING ALL POETS!!!!Bangkok Lyrical Lunacy is proud to present our monthly Spoken Word Open Mic Show to be held on September 27th, 2014, at the Queen Bee Bangkok!

This month we have exciting news! BkkLyLu will be joining poets from all over the planet who will be getting together in their respective communities for a day of artistic expression. The project is called 100 Thousand Poets for Change (Official) and its goal is to have poets all over the globe advocating for positive change within their communities. So on this night we will be one of hundreds of cities all around the world bringing artists together to share art and create a positive impact on the lives of those around us. Join us and other poets, musicians, and artists around the world in a celebration to promote peace and sustainability and to call for serious social, environmental and political change with our voices.

We also are happy to announce that this month our show will be held at theQueen Bee on Sukhumvit Soi 26, just across the street from the Double Tree Hotel! The folks over at Queen Bee will be having a Happy Hour that night up until 9pm, with beers starting from ฿69 so be sure to arrive well in advance so you can get your fill! 😀

Poets please be aware that open mic slots are limited. We do try our very best to accommodate everyone who signs up so, for those who sign up after all slots have been filled, we have a stand by list that we use incase we have time to spare, or if other poets cancel or do not show up.

For anyone just looking to watch and enjoy the show, be sure to be there well before the start of the show so that you can get yourself a seat! They sure fill up fast! 😀

Doors will open at 7pm but Queen Bee has an outdoor bar so you can take advantage of the drink specials well before!
