Winds of Change book coverWinds of Change: Short Stories about Our Climate is a diverse collection of eighteen insightful, witty, and emotional short stories about climate change. The selected stories are the result of a short story contest run by Eco-fiction.com in the summer of 2014. In collaboration with 100,000 Poets (Artists/Authors) for Change, Eco-fiction.com engaged authors from Vancouver, BC, and other places around the world, to create speculative fiction about a harsh reality: our planet-at-risk.

Editor Mary Woodbury (who will read from the winning entry by Robert Sassor) and five contributors will read from Winds of Change at the book launch at Metrotown Library.

The authors are: Mary Woodbury (editor), Robert Sassor, Paul Collins, Michael Donoghue, Janis Hindman, Anneliese Schultz and Keith Wilkinson.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase at this event. 15% of all book net sales will be donated to 350.org, which has a strong mission to mobilize grassroots movements all over the world to raise awareness of climate change.

Free, but space is limited. Please register online at www.bpl.bc.ca/events, in person at the Metrotown First Floor Information Desk, or phone 604-436-5410.

Michael Donaghue was our photographer. Thanks to Michael!
