Join us Saturday, Sept. 30th from 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. for the 7th Annual installment of “100 Thousand Poets & Musicians for Change – St. Louis”! An official offshoot of the world-wide events created by Michael Rothenberg and Terri Carrion, “100,000 Poets & Musicians for Change – St. Louis” is a blending of the largest poetry and music events in history, with hundreds of countries around the world participating in umbrella events. Recorded by Stanford University for placement in their LOCKSS Historical Preservation System, this year’s show will be held at Urb Arts in beautiful and historic Old North!
The St. Louis event will focus on active change, with local non-profit organizations present to give out information and accept donations. Organized by Amanda Wells and Susan “Spit-Fire” Lively; “100 Thousand Poets & Musicians for Change – St. Louis” is free and open to the public, and local vendors will offer a delicious selection of beverages and food.
