Mbizo Chirasha , the Resident Coordinator of the 100 Thousand Poets for Change – GLOBAL and Curator of the 100 Thousands Poets for Peace- Zimbabwe/ Zimbabwe We Want Poetry Campaign curated 2 events for the Global Poetry Event of the 100 Thousand Poets for Change – Global 2018.

13 September 2018 – The Zimbabwe We Want Poetry Campaign / 100 Thousand Poets for Peace – Zimbabwe collaborated with the Litfest Harare, Poetry Alive and Bina Sarkar Ellias( from Mumbai) – the International Gallerie Publisher, Editor and Poet and they put together the one of its kind WORD GUERRILLA CAFÉ with a lineup of 10 Zimbabwean poets female and male to celebrate peace, girls rights, freedom of expression and creative resistance . it was also a celebration of cultural excellence and literary arts exchange – the meeting of Mumbai word warriors and Harare poetic guerrillas in Zimbabwe.

15 September 2018 – Mbizo Chirasha , the leader of GirlchildCreativity/ 100thousand Poets for peace Zimbabwe and Resident Coordinator 100tpc.org coordinated with Rise N Shine Trust Girl clubs. He curated and facilitated a two day Girl child rights, peace, empowerment and Voices Intensive creative training lab that included self-confidence, knowledge sharing, creativity development, literacy, growing voices and artistic performances. A total of 50 girls converged in Lipinyu in the rural village of Jabulani in Victoria Falls between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It was time of growing girls through writing, arts and creative knowledge. The event was concluded by a WORD GUERRILLA CAFÉ (perfomances by Mbizo Chirasha and the girls club ).Together we rise.

MBIZO CHIRASHA is an internationally anthologized poet, literary arts project curator, creative humanist, arts activism catalyst , blogs publisher and a Writer in Residence. He is the Solidarity member of GAPA (Global Arts and Political Alliance),the African Partner of the International Human Rights Arts Festival, the Resident Coordinator of 100 Thousand Poets for Change- Global, the Founder of Girl Child Creativity Project( 2010 to present) , founder/Creative Director of the Young Writers Caravan( 2003-2007), Facilitator/Curator of the Creative Leadership and Artistic Training Project for Africa (2018- 2023). He is the Word Press Publisher of the Personalities of Inspiration (www.personalitiesofinspiration.wordpress.com) and Miombo Publishing (www.miombopublishing.wordpress.com). Chirasha is the Editor of the Brave Voices Poetry journal (Journal for political poetry and creative resistance). He is the Originator of the Zimbabwe We Want Poetry Campaign. He writes for the Tuck Magazine – (the International magazine on Arts Human Rights and Politics.) Mbizo Chirasha is the editor of the E-Poetry Anthology on Zimbabwean political instability “INSIDE DISGRACELAND”.
