Banned Books Week 2019: From Trauma to Transformation
Join PEN America, Tia Chucha Press, Tia Chucha Centro Cultural & Bookstore, and 100 Thousand Poets for Change to celebrate banned and challenged books from around the world. In honor of Banned Books Week 2019, the event will feature a reading of family and friends that know and survived the system of mass incarceration in the United States. The event will also feature Poets and Writers from Trauma to Transformation, Roots & Wings, Street Poets, and Words Uncaged.
