I went to Club 4-H in Panacea on Monday and to Sail High School in Tallahassee yesterday. I had a great time. The kids were great. They were very receptive and asked questions.

“Today, I read a poem to the kids in Miss Jana and Miss Heather’s class at the Trinity Early Learning Center of St. Augustine, Florida. Reading “Sick” by Shel Silverstein to a group of ten young children was a magical experience. They ranged in age from 2 years to 4 years. Hearing them laugh and giggle and seeing their eyes light up caught me off guard, in a joyful way. Many thanks to 100 Thousand Poets for Change for the invitation to read a poem to a child during the week of September 23rd to September 28th,”
