September’s Featured artist/writer at The Glasgow Literary Lounge @Calton Bar, we will be hosting writer and artist, Jacqueline Smith for our September monthly showcase. Smith will be exploring and discussing the need for vision and revision, for progress and evolution in all art forms, and life’s circumstances. Using examples from Life Lessons, Visual Art work, Poetry and Prose. CALLING ALL CREATIVES: In our partnership with !00 Thousand Poets for Change, we believe in the power of the literary arts & culture. We’re joining poets, musicians and artists in cities around the world in a demonstration and celebration to promote justice, peace, and sustainability. We’re joining the call for serious social, environmental, and political change. Bring us your poems, your songs, and let’s dance to the rhythm of justice, peace and sustainability. If you are unable to attend, we ask that you participate in the Read A Poem To A Child initiative. Let’s show the world what Glasgow is made of.
