Local HINDI/RAJASTHANI poets and lyricists are most cordially invited to recite/sing their compositions at an event of Confluence of Poetry to be presented by Manthan Manch in solidarity with 100 Thousand Poets for Change (Official) between 5 and 7 p.m. on the International Day of Poetry on September 28, 2013.

It will an occasion of solemn poetical sharing on the theme of Good Will and Emotional Integration in the world. Admission only with permission. All friends interested in contributing to the event may kindly get in touch with me at the earliest.

मंथन मंच की “काव्य-संगम” गोष्ठी :: POETS ASSEMBLY OF MANTHAN MANC

149th Session of Manthan Manch, celebrated as KAVYA-SANGAM (CONFLUENCE OF POETS) on September 28, 2013 between 5 and 7:30 p.m. was a unique, delightful and intimate experience. 10 established and budding poets presented their compositions soulfully and the august gathering of invitees listened with great loving urge. The compositions so presented were dedicated to a world of love, understanding, good will, peace and equal opportunities for all.

Extending the most cordial reception to the poets and invited august members of the audience, the convener of Manthan Manch and the anchor of the programme, Prof. Prem Mohan Lakhotia outlined the theme of world wide celebration of poetry for preserving human values under the presentations of
100 Thousand Poets for Change (Official). The theme poetry presented by him described the poetry as the eternal true song of the pure soul and urged poets not to waste it on mundane writings of any matter. In the inaugural address, Dr. Narendra Sharma ‘Kusum’ observed that while globalization allowed the material progress, the human compassion has lost its ground which can be re-enforced by poetry alone.

10 poets including Dr. Narendra Sharma ‘Kusum’, Surendra Sharma, Kavi Kishore Pareek, Dr. Anil Sharma, Gope Kumar Mishra, Kripashankar ‘Achuk’, Rohit Krishna Nandan, Mukul Sharma, Dhanraj Dadhich and Prof. Prem Mohan Lakhotia gave a recital of their lyrical compositions, woven with a rainbow of human emotions. The audience was elated with delight.

At the end of the programme, all invited poets were presented with token gifts of love. The session had commenced with light home prepared refreshments.
